Cheaters are terrible... I try to be understanding of the circumstances - but Cheetahs hardly ever lose their spots.
I loathe bad tippers as well. I can understand if someone is from someplace like Europe and does not know how to tip in the States. Not being able to do simple math, or worse, not caring enough about the service to leave a decent tip, is vulgar to me. After being annoyed and embarrassed once, I now always pay so I can avoid this.
People who cheat are bad and it is stupid to cheat. Selfish people stink.
Cheap people stink. Tip your servers. At least 15% if they did a bad job and 20% if they tried hard and over that if they are really enjoying their job.
Agree, agree, agree. Cheating is an awful thing to do. As to tipping in restaurants, it is becoming more mainstream here in the UK, usually 10% and I'm happy to pay it unless the service has been really bad like it was a couple of weeks ago in a restaurant in Covent Garden. The waitress has such a bad attitude and the messed up the order so much that I'm afraid I refused to pay the 'optional' service which was added to the bill. First time that has happened in many years though.
Darling, you're gonna need to stop going to restaurants with those persons who shall not be named. Otherwise, you'll end up not being able to go back to any restaurants other than shabu, chinese and fastfood restaurants.
